Augmenting tutoring of students using Tangible Smart Learning Objects: An IOT based approach to assist student learning in laboratories

This paper presents a work in progress on development and use of Tangible Smart Learning Objects for Electronic Engineering curriculum laboratories. When such objects are connected together, they form an Internet of Things (IOT) and can be used to assist students and enhance their learning about various experiments. Two scenarios have been discussed to make these objects a part of IOT in educational spaces along with the use of Augmented Reality technology.
