Digit image recognition and error correction method based on name board digit recognition

The invention provides a digit image recognition and error correction method based on name board digit recognition. Digit label images are obtained form product equipment, and early stage image processing operations are carried out on the digit label images to obtain pure digit label images; single character division is carried out on the content of the pure digit label images, a series of continuous digit label images are divided into image groups with single digits as units, and sequence number marking is carried out on each single digit image unit; digit pair images which are prone to recognition errors are screened out of the image groups; the difference of the digit pair images is enlarged by using an image peripheral filling error correction algorithm; lastly recognition and error correction operations are carried out on the digit pair images. The digit image recognition and error correction method based on the name board digit recognition overcomes the defects in the prior art, correction and re-recognition are carried out on digits which are prone to recognition errors commonly, the accuracy of the error correction recognition reaches 100%, the recognition accuracy of labels on manufacturing production lines is improved greatly, and the working efficiency of the manufacturing production lines is improved.
