Closed-Loop Control of HCCI Engine Dynamics

Popular Abstract in Swedish Avhandlingen behandlar reglering av Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) motor dynamik. HCCI erbjuder mojligheten att kombinera hog effektivitet med valdigt laga emissioner. Aterkopplad reglering ar ett satt att uppna dessa mal. Avhandlingen diskuterar sensorer, aterkopplingsvariabler och aktuatorer for sluten-loop reglering av HCCI forbranningen. Det ar demonstrerat att jonstrom kan anvandas for reglering av HCCI forbranning. Modeller av HCCI dynamiken vilka ar lampliga for reglerdesign ar framtagna. Resultat visas att lagre ordningens modeller ar tillrackliga for att beskriva HCCI dynamiken. Modellerna har blivit framtagna bade med system identifiering och med fysikalisk modellering. Regleringen har skett pa en sexcylindring 12 liter lastbilsmotor och regleringen har skett antingen genom ett variabelt cylinder ventilsystem eller med ett tva branslesystem. Regleringen av forbranningsfasningen ar en begransande faktor for lastregleringen och emissionsregleringen. Ett system dar HCCI forbranningen ar reglerad pa cylinder individuell cykel-till-cykel bas ar presenterat och implementerat. Olika reglermetoder for att reglera HCCI forbranningen ar presenterade och demonstrerade. Modelbaserade metoder sasom LQG och MPC och PID reglering gav tillfredstallande reglerprestanda. En MPC regulator foreslas som losning pa problemet med lastreglering och samtidig minimering av bransleforbrukningen och emissionerna. Dessutom maste cylindertrycket begransas. (Less)
