Undulation analysis of instantaneous availability under discrete Weibull distributions

The instantaneous availability of the discrete-time one-unit repairable system under Weibull distribution is studied.Firstly,some parameters are presented to characterize the undulation of the instantaneous availability.Then,two kinds of numerical simulations are carried out: one for the systems with fixed life distribution and mean time to repair(MTTR),and the other for the systems with fixed repair time distribution and mean time between failures(MTBF).Finally,the relationship between the undulation parameters of the instantaneous availability and the parameters of Weibull distributions is studied,and some variation laws of the undulation parameters under certain conditions are obtained from the simulation results.
