설계 모델을 이용한 통합 구조설계 시스템의 개발

This paper describes the development of an Integrated Structural Design System for Reinforced Concrete Buildings (INDECON) that incorporates design systems for the design of reinforced concrete buildings. This paper begins with formal design models for the integrated system and explores implementation methodologies of the integrated system using the design models. The design models include the Design Object Mode(DOM) and the Design Activity Model(DAM), which describe design data and design tasks, respectively, during the structural design process of reinforced concrete buildings. The design models cover the structural design process from the preliminary design phase to the detailed design phase for a limited scope of reinforced concrete buildings. The design models could automate, by organizing the topology of structural components in three-dimensional space, several design tasks such as arranging beams and slabs, assuming structural component section dimensions, grouping structural components, and generating design loads. Then the design models are transformed and specified in detail for each part of the integrated system, which involves a central database and three design modules: a preliminary design module(PDM), a structural design module(SDM), and a detailed design module(DDM). The integrated system can be used for the design of regular shape reinforced concrete buildings, but the methodologies used for developing the integrated system can be applied to more comprehensive integrated systems for various kinds of reinforced concrete buildings.
