Densities and Excess Molar Volumes of Propylene Carbonate + Linear and Cyclic Ketones at 298.15 K

Densities, ρ, and excess molar volumes, V m E , have been determined for the binary mixtures propylene carbonate + eight methyl n-alkyl ketones and + three cyclic ketones at 298.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. V m E increases with the increase of the chain length of linear ketones and decreases with the increase of the methyl groups of cyclic ketones. Smooth representations of the results are presented.
