Androgen‐dependent activation of human cytomegalovirus major immediate‐early promoter in prostate cancer cells

Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) major immediate early (MIE) promoter, which is involved in viral reactivation, is specifically activated by androgen in LNCaP prostate cancer cells.
