Use-case based cost and energy efficiency analysis of virtualization concepts in operator networks

Conventional and virtualization-based implementations in operator networks are analyzed based on a realistic use case in terms of cost and energy efficiency. The results show advantages for the virtualization-based solutions as the systems' utilization as a key factor is improved.
