Nonlinear modeling of mixed-signal system based on X parameters

The characterization and modeling of mixed-signal systems is presented in this paper. The state of the art of software-defined radio is of great significance for the integration of wireless communication systems. In this paper, RF Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) will be taken as an example to characterize the nonlinear behavior of mixed-signal systems. The basic theory, measurement platform and key technique for mixed-signal systems modeling based on X-parameters are presented in detail, which vividly explains the nonlinear behavior of mixed-domain consisting of digital and analog signals.
