Bilaterales, riesiges Schwannom des N. ulnaris im Rahmen einer Schwannomatose

Gutartige Nervenscheidentumoren machen ca. 12 % der gutartigen Weichteilgeschwulste im Unterarmund Handbereich aus [1]. Überwiegend handelt es sich um Neurofibrome oder Schwannome (Synonym: Neurilemmom) [1–4]. Es sind auch Hybrid-Tumoren mit histologisch-zellulären Mischformen beschrieben [5]. Die Inzidenz der Schwannome an der oberen Extremität beträgt 0,62 pro 100 000 Einwohner [6]. Die oberen Extremitäten sind mit 19–27 % die zweithäufigste Prädilektionsstelle des Schwannoms, am häufigsten treten diese gutartigen Nervenscheidentumore im Kopfund Nackenbereich auf (45 %) [4,7]. Desai analysierte 442 operativ behandelte, extrakranielle Schwannome. 66 % waren an den Extremitäten, 33 % am Plexus brachialis lokalisiert. Der N. ulnaris war mit 16 % der am häufigsten betroffene Nerv. [8].
