Influence of particle interactions on particle dispersion in low turbulence field

Hydrodymanic interactions between particle pairs are included in a Lagrangian approach for discrete particle turbulent dispersion. Several particles are simultaneously followed, and the set of motion equations is coupled through the resistance matrix deduced from sedimentation theory. Collisions between particle pairs are assumed perfectly elastic. In low turbulence fields results show that particle behaviours are influenced by hydrodynamic interactions and/or collisions.
