Real-Time Implementation of Self-Adjustable Analog Phase Equalizers

This paper presents a real-time implementation of self-adjustable analog phase equalizers with reduced computational effort. The proposed approach is based on searching for the slope of a straight line and the error characterizing the undulation around that straight line equalizer. These parameters are stored in a table, making possible its operation in real time. The look-up table inputs correspond to a value set related to the phase delay of the system to be equalized. Examples attesting the effectiveness of this approach are presented and discussed. Keywords — analog equalizers; implementation; real-time; self-adjustable phase equalizers.
