Resonant Characteristics of a Trapezoid Meander Line Monopole Antenna

A compact trapezoid meander line monopole antenna is presented. The design analysis of the antenna is performed with the method of moments. The reliability of the numerical analysis is demonstrated by the experement result in special case. A detailed investigation is focused on the comparative analysis of the input parameters for different configuration of the antenna. It is demonstrated that changing the indentation angle of the trapezoid meander line is a simple but rather effective tuning method to lower resonant frequency and improve the performance of radiation and match for the antennas.
