BAYESIAN RELIABILILTY ANALYSIS AND INSPECTION OF SHIP STRUCTURAL MEMBERS: APPLICATION TO THE FATIGUE FAILURES OF HOLD FRAMES

A Bayesian reliability analysis to assess the fatigue strength of ship structural members was carried out. The purpose was to determine the allowable interval between inspections such that ship structural reliability would be maintained at the design stage level.
