WORLD-SID를 적용한 측면충돌 상해 메커니즘 분석 및 개선방안 연구

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) began evaluating the 50th percentile male WorldSID in FMVSS No. 214 side impat test using the same fleet vehicles. Someday, ES-2re hand over the fame ‘50th percentile dummy’ to WorldSID in regulation and NCAP tests. In this paper we reviewed the anthropometries of the 50th percentile Male WorldSID and ES-2re and studied the dummy’s injury mechanism using the FEM. The analysis of FEM simulation could propose several injury improvements of WorldSID.
