PURPOSE: A method of driving light-source, a light-source apparatus for performing the method and a display apparatus having the light-source apparatus are provided to prevent the brightness and color coordinate from being changed according to a driving mode by differently controlling a reference duty ratio of the driving signals depending on a driving mode. CONSTITUTION: A light source module includes lighting blocks, and each lighting block includes first to third color light sources. A local dimming controller(210) sets up a reference duty ratio for the driving signals of the first to third colors depending on the driving mode of the light source module. A light source driving unit(230) creates the driving signals of the first to third colors by using the driving current having the same peak current level depending on the driving mode.
