A Robust Binary Watermarking Scheme Using BTC-PF Technique

In this work, a robust binary watermarking technique is proposed. For the embedding purpose, the host image is encoded by BTC-PF method and two pattern books (PB1 and PB2) are used to insert the watermark. Depending on the bit-value of the watermark, the current block of the host image is encoded either by using PB1 or PB2. In the present method, to enhance the security level, the original watermark is randomly permuted with a secret key K and then embedding method is executed. The experimental result shows that the proposed watermarking technique is a robust against different type of attacks like blurring, salt and pepper noise, Gaussian filter, cropping, sharpening, rotation, histogram equalization and JPEG compression.
