Application of Infrared Image Recognition Technology in Electrical Equipment

This paper comprehensively summarizes the application of the current infrared image recognition technology in the field of electrical equipment monitoring, and carries out the specific analysis and points out a series of problems of the infrared image recognition technology in the current application. Based on above problems, this paper proposes a brand new application strategy from following three aspects: the equipment color feature recognition, the texture feature recognition and the image recognition of the isolator status in the transformer substation, thereby indicating directions for the realization of thorough application of infrared image recognition technology in the field of electrical equipment monitoring.
