Dynamic Compensation Control of Current Vector Synchronous Rotation for BLDCM

A continuous current control method can realize the synchronous rotation of the current vector and the back EMF vector to meet the high power density and low noise requirements of the electric vehicle motor. However, the actual current vector would lag behind the back EMF vector because of the motor winding inductances and the limited supply voltage of inverter. The lag is aggravated as the increase of motor rotational velocity. A novel dynamic compensation control method in stationary reference frame for BLDCM is proposed in this paper. This method can dynamically compensate the voltage vector generated by the voltage supply inverter according to the motor parameters and operating conditions. Thereby it would ensure the rotation of the current vector and the back EMF vector synchronously. The simulation results show that the proposed method can eliminate the lag and reduce the commutation torque ripple and phase current harmonics of the motor.
