Simulation of microwave scattering image recognition

An ISAR object recognition system has been put forward and used for learning and recognizing microwave scattering images of two scale model aircrafts which are obtained in a microwave anechoic chamber. Mathematical models of microwave scattering images for aircrafts are advanced to investigate the system capacity of recognizing multiple objects and major factors which affect the system recognition rate. Some experimental results are presented, including the effect of feature selection on the recognition rate and its dependence on the number of the training samples.<<ETX>>
