Die Bedeutung der Zellkinetik bei der Behandlung maligner Tumoren* 1

A more precise in-Vitro analysis of the kinetics of human tumour cells has in recent years improved the conservative treatment of malignant tumours by radiation and cytostatic drugs. This is especially true for phase-specific radiation and cytostatic treat-ment after partial synchronization. Phase-specific use of radiation and cytostatic drugs, for example in carcinoma of the oral cavity, so far suggests a higher success sate than has been obtained with the non-phase-specific methods of treatment.
