Numerical Analysis of Mineral Self-Dumping Truck Carriage Under Crash Loads

In this paper,the focus is on the stress distribution of the carriage when the mineral impacts are on the different positions of the carriage. A three-dimensional solid model of the carriage is established,which imports to the finite element analysis software ANSYS to calculate the stress and strain of the carriage upon the impacts. The calculation results are analyzed and some structures are adjusted. The simulation analysis shows that the maximum stress of the truck carriage is lower than the yield limit and the strength of the carriage can meet the general requirement when the 3 t rock crashes the floor of the carriage from the height of 2. 8 m.
