Intelligent distributed satellite network management method

The existing ground network management technologies are hardly used in the management of satellite network.Based on the characteristics of the satellite network and the requirements of its management,a distributed network management method—autonomous network management is presented which emphasizes the intelligent collaboration.The whole network is divided into different management subnets according to the different sub-managers which not only are in charge of managing subnet but also can fulfill the management of the whole network by collaboration.The management functions of autonomous network management in satellite network include fault management,performance management and topology management.Finally the general process of autonomous network management and collaboration model are presented.This model can be dynamically created based on the network management tasks and has some flexibilities and extensibilities.
