Integrated application of water informatization: A case study from Zengcheng Guangzhou China

With the rapid development of science and technology, the informatization level of China water resource management has made considerable improved. Three disasters controls (flood control, anti-drought & typhoon defending) is an important content of the Guangzhou water management work. In recent years, a series of information collection system have been built to make the water status data acquirement more fast and convenient. With the increase of monitoring data records, requirement of monitoring data integration has become more and more urgent. The paper addresses the implement of systems integration method. Numerous technologies, including the Internet of things, GIS, 3d display, mobile officing, have been applied to this integrated management platform. The platform integrated plenty of theme data, such as water conservancy project data, meteorology data, disasters data etc. This paper introduces the principle of system architecture, give the diversity analysis of the different data source. Data involved: the water level, rainfall, typhoon, meteorological data, video monitoring. All these data comprehensive display on a basic geographic map. The users have two kinds of way to access the platform: using the fixed PC or using mobile devices. Multiple using pattern make the client platform access more convenient. In 3d display section, the realization of the unmanned aerial vehicle (uav) shoot a panoramic view of hot spots. This paper giving the demonstration area with Zengcheng district, Guangzhou city, Guangdong province China, to verify the integration theory feasibility described above. Results show that through integration progress, it improve the comprehensive efficiency of management.
