From Model-Based Design to Deployment of Integrated, Embedded, Real-Time Systems: The DECOS Tool-Chain

integrated EU-project DECOS aims at the provision of enabling technologies to move from federated to integrated distributed architectures in order to reduce development, validation and maintenance costs, and to increase the dependability of embedded applications in various application domains. A major con- cern is the development of an integrated tool-chain accompanying the system development process from design to deployment. This paper gives an overview of this tool-chain and outlines important design deci- sions and features.
