The impact of electric transmission lines on the well-being and peace of mind of people living and working near or under them is investigated. Considered are: induced charges on wire fences/ shocks from farm machinery/ ill effects on behavior, growth, and reproduction of cattle/ interference with radio and television reception/ interference with the operation of electronic farm equipment and machinery/ storm damage/ and toxic effects of ozone production. Whether justifiable or not, the existence of electric transmission lines affects the marketability of property. (1 graph, 2 tables)
