As the evolution aim of 3G, LTE has large market potential and demand. Power Amplifier is one of the most important components in wireless communication system, which decides the whole system's efficiency. So, the research and design of LTE high efficiency PA is very important. This paper introduced the design, debug, and test of a Doherty power amplifier. The Doherty PA frequency is range covering LTE (2570 to 2620MHZ), and can get power added efficiency (PAE) of 47% to 35.7% when the output power level from 40W to 10W, also at output power level of 10W, the third order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) can reach 35dBc.
