Study on the Logistics Information System for Life-Cycle-Based Hazardous Waste Management

Aiming at the problems of the lacking of supervisionduringhazardous wastes' transfer and imperfection of hazardous waste disposal facilities, based on the concept of life-cycle management, this study set up the intelligent identification and acquisition mode of logistics information by combining two-dimensional code and radio frequency identification(RFID), and the real-time location and monitoring mode by using long-distance RFID reader and high-frequency active RFID tag to establish a logistics information system for hazardous waste management.The hazardous wastes' intelligent, digital management during the whole process including collection, transportation and disposal was achieved.The system improved the efficiency of thehazardous wastelogistics information management, and helped to reduce the environmental risks during the hazardous waste transfer. Thus it showed a promising application prospect.
