Observations from a Field Study on Developing a Framework for Pre-Usage Evaluation of CASE Tools

In this paper, we address the issue of method validation by means of method transfer. We report on experiences from an application of a proposed method for evaluation framework development in a field study, and demonstrate that the method user, previously unfamiliar with the method, was able to successfully apply it in a complex setting.
