Mapping extended rationale diagrams to OLAP queries

We propose a method that enables decision makers to formulate OLAP queries. Firstly, the decision maker's analysis requirements are expressed as an extended rationale diagram. Subsequently, using the extended rationale diagram, we verify whether it is possible to get the information from the data warehouse. If it is, we generate the outline of the corresponding OLAP query. If it is not, we inform the user about the missing information.
