Abstract The present study involves the automation of air pollution monitoring using genetic algorithm, fuzzy logic, neural networks for data from nuclear techniques analysis of industrial waste and suspended particles in air, in the metropolitan region of Vitoria, Espirito Santo state, Brazil.
