사례조사를 통한 주택의 물소비 절약에 관한 연구

Water is the most indispensable commodity to human, basis of all industry, and unlike other resources, there is no resources to alternate. Though the world's water demands were rapidly increased by industrialization, there was indifferent to water preservation. However, nowadays world is interested in the water, because of many problems occured by lack of water. In the Korea case, usable water is insufficient. But paradoxically, water price is cheap. Accordingly, consciousness about water saving is little. At the building, water saving appliances which is applied to apartments, can save 13.5% water, and using domestic wastewater can save % water, which is appled to general houses. Rainwater which is cast away is possible to use by water for sundry uses; garden water, toilet water, car washing water, and laundry water, consequently, rainwater can save water use. The developed country like a germany apply these method in the house, they endeavor to reduce water use. However, Korean applications are deficient. Water saving appliances are enforced from a mere sense of duty by legislation, but the diffusion rates are stop at 30%, and house's water saving equipments diffusion is very low practically, because the diffusion rates contain office building which is established by duty. Moreover actually, graywater and rainwater are not applied at the house yet. This study analyzes the water saving methods at the building by case study, and indicates the effective saving methods.
