The invention relates to an alternating-current header box adopting carrier communication and a photovoltaic power station. The alternating-current header box comprises an intelligent acquisition unit, a busbar, an input breaker, a current transformer and a lightning protector, wherein the intelligent acquisition unit is used for acquiring a signal, then loading the acquired signal to the current of a power supply cable in a high-frequency signal mode and then transmitting the current by use of power; the low voltage side of a box transformer substation is provided with a carrier wave module and a communication management unit; the carrier wave module is used for decomposing the high-frequency signal from the current of the power supply cable; and the acquired signal is transmitted to a monitoring system by virtue of the communication management unit. According to the alternating-current header box, a power-line carrier technology is adopted for transmitting data, so that the alternating-current header box is simple in structure, relatively low in cost, stable in performance and convenient in system overhaul and maintenance.
