PV Array Model with Maximum Power Point Tracking Based on Immunity Optimization Algorithm

In order to rapidly tracking the maximum power point of the photovoltaic (PV) system, a model using the immunity optimization algorithm is presented in this paper. The strategy of the integration of immunity algorithm to the maximum power point tracking is given, and the corresponding simulation models are explained. Under the changes of the illumination and temperature, the proposed model can be exactly and timely tracking the maximum output power; therefore, the simulation results show the effective of the algorithm.
