The data transmission reliability analysis in automotive CAN bus

Since the message transmission reliability for the design of CAN bus system is important,which is related to the normal operation of the bus system,the message transmission time is analyzed based on the Tindell scheduling theory,and the message transmission reliability analysis is studied by means of probability analysis.Then an example is calculated to get the message reliability,which result is contrasted with the MONTE-CARLO method to obtain the message transmission reliability;This will be the basis for calculating the reliability of the CAN bus system,and provide a foundation for the scheduling theory studies as well,which has great practical significance.
