Method, system and device for transmitting multimedia broadcast multicast service

A method for transmitting multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) is provided. The method includes the following steps: the base station transmits the MBMS service to the terminals in the downlink service sub-frames; the base station receives the feedback information transmitted from the terminals in the uplink service sub-frames, wherein the ratio of the uplink service sub-frames to the downlink service sub-frames is less than one. A system and a device for transmitting MBMS are also provided. The present invention can provide high-speed downlink MBMS service to users, make full use of the downlink resources of the system, and avoid resource waste due to the idle downlink sub-frames. Moreover, the uplink feedback scheme is adopted, which can improve the overall performance of the system, enrich the service types, bring convenience to the operation and management, and help to optimize the system performance further.
