Observer-based SMC for discrete-time system subject to successive packet loss

A sliding mode control method for networked control systems with successive packet losses is studied in this paper. A new estimate strategy is proposed due to the intermittent information obtained at the controller side. Base the the estimation of the system, an integral sliding surface is proposed and a linear control law is constructed to guarantee the system converge to the ideal sliding surface stochastically. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the proposed method.
