Modeling of Logistics Warehousing System Based on Timed Petri Net

As the traditional study of warehousing systems modeling only involves the single operation process of storage systems, this paper adds picking systems on this basis and forms a new logistics warehousing system. Based on analysis of the operation process for established systems, the important characteristics of events in this process (asynchronous, parallel and conflict, for example) are described by using timed Petri nets. Meanwhile, the subsystems are respectively analyzed by using the top-down approach. Finally, the paper builds the model of logistics warehousing systems, which provides a theoretical foundation for the realization of the system simulation.
