Series Connected Ammonia-Water Refrigeration and Power Combined Cycle and Its Sensitivity Analysis

In this paper,a simulation calculation and analysis has been conducted to the series connected ammonia-water power/refrigeration combined cycle. The main parameters of the base case cycle are chosen as followings:the ammonia mass fraction is 0.3,the turbine inlet parameters are 400℃/8.4MPa,the parameters of the heat resource air are 415℃/0.1043MPa.The exergy efficiency, the economic exergy efficiency and the power/refrigeration ratio are adopted as the evaluation indexes.A study has been carried out about the effect of some key cycle parameters on the cycle thermal performance, the parameters include the turbine inlet temperature and pressure, the reboiler outlet temperature, the cooling water temperature. The results show that there are an optimal turbine inlet temperature and an optimal reboiler temperature existing, which separately maximizes the exergy efficiency and the economic exergy efficiency.Furthermore,it is found that the optimal basic working solution concentration varies with the price ratio of refrigeration to power.
