Time Sequence of 3',5'-Cyclic AMP Accumulation and Ultrastructural Changes in Dog Thyroid Slices after Acute Stimulation by TSH*

Summary cAMP accumulation and pseudopod formation have been studied in dog thyroid slices stimulated by thyrotropin. lt is shown that the kinetics and concentration effeet re la tionship support the validity of Sutherltmd's model of hor mone action through cAMP for thyrotropin and thyroid se cretion.
