An investigation of non-data-aided SNR estimation techniques for analog modulation signals

This paper investigates the non-data-aided SNR estimation techniques for analog modulation signals. Two existing algorithms, M2M4 and ED-based estimators, are modified and applied to SNR estimation for signals with analog modulation. This paper also proposes a simple but practical Spectrum-based SNR estimator for analog modulation. The performances of the three SNR estimators are compared and analyzed.
