A family of shunt active filter based on the interleaved buck switch cell

A family of shunt active power filter based on interleaved buck (IB) switch cell is proposed in this paper. This novel configuration based on the buck switch cell's combination is advanced for its high frequency and high efficiency, in which the “shoot-through” is eliminated inherently. In this paper, the operation principle of novel dual-switch topology based half bridge shunt active power filter is analyzed in detail. Moreover, corresponding control strategies are given as well. Simulation and experimental results are shown to verify the feasibility of the novel active power filter. This family of shunt APF suits to be used in the application with the requirement of high reliability and high compensation performance.
