Multi Ant Colony Cooperative Coevolution for Optimization of Ship Multi Pipe Parallel Routing

Based on the ant colony optimization(ACO) and the cooperative coevolutionary algorithm(CCA),a multi ant colony cooperative coevolutionary algorithm(MACCCA) for multi pipe cooperative routing in 3D space was established.During the evolution of the proposed algorithm,the evolutionary order of ant colonies is chosen randomly in every generation;ACO is introduced to search for the optimal paths respectively for every colony.In the cooperative mechanism of the MACCCA,the approach of using the best individual to construct the small environment is adopted,so the phenomenon of combinatorial explosion is avoided when the number of pipe increases.The simulation experiment demonstrates that compared with the ACO used for sequential pipe routing design,the MACCCA can achieve more cooperative pipe paths in multi pipe cooperative routing design.
