Apparatus and method for outputing image

PURPOSE: An image output device and a method thereof are provided to output an image which is stored with an interlace mode and a progressive mode at the same time using one memory having a single port. CONSTITUTION: A memory (200) stores image data. An image processing unit reads the image data which is stored in the memory with an interlace mode and a progressive mode at the same time using one port. The image processing unit separates and outputs the read image data. The memory is a single port memory.
