PURPOSE: A light guiding plate, a method for manufacturing the same, and an apparatus for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce material costs by forming a patterning layer on the active area of a substrate excluding a dummy area. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) includes an active area and a dummy area. The dummy area is arranged on the edge side of the active area. A groove is formed on the dummy area. A patterning layer(200) is formed on one side of the substrate. The patterning layer is formed on the active area excluding the dummy area. The substrate and the patterning layer are based on poly methyl methacrylate.
