Application Research of Fractional-order Controller in Superheated Steam Temperature Control

Basing on the traditional cascade control and fractional order PI~λD~μcontroller,a fractional order PI~λD~μcascade control strategy for superheated steam temperature control was proposed and the fractional order PI~λD~μcontroller parameters were set with particle swarm optimization algorithm.Simulation in Matlab/Simulink and comparing fractional order PI~λD~μcontroller with integer order PID controller show that the former outperforms the latter in setting value tracking,disturbance control and robustness.
