청소년중심 스포츠클럽 모형의 문화기술적 탐색

The purpose of this study is to investigate youth-centered sport club model from tripod of student members, coaches, and parents of student members through qualitative research method of ethnography. To achieve the suggested research purpose, 6 student members, 3 coaches, and 3 parents were selected as research participants for semi-structured in-depth interviews. Each interview has lasted for less than 30 minutes and the recorded interview has been transcribed into written materials for later use of analysis. Spradley`s Developmental Ethnographic Interview method was adopted to analyze the transcribed interview materials. Problems initiated by tripod of student members, coaches, and parents and their expectation for the development of youth sport club can boil down to 5 dimensions: acquiring sport facility, securing effective coaches, applying a variety of programs, administrative and financial support, and recruiting student members. On the basis of analyzing the transcribed interview data, Youth-centered Sport Club is suggested. For the Youth-centered Sport Club to be successful, 6 conditions should be satisfied. First, students who want to join the Youth-centered Sport Club should maintain a certain level of academic competence. Second, Youth-centered Sport Club members should have exclusive use of space to attract student members. Third, Youth-centered Sport Club should have 2 tracks of level adequate programs. Fourth, the Youth-centered Sport Club should teach student athletes in a manner of tailored instruction. Fifth, the Youth-centered Sport Club should secure exclusive use of sport facility and stable financial support. Sixth, the Youth-centered Sport Club should campaign strong points of the club to acquire high level of student members. To conclude, Korean Type Sport Club should accept Youth-centered Sport Club as the sixth Korean Type Sport Club to solve the exhaustion of elite athletes and provide young students with sport activity space.
