Sensitivity constrained PMU placement method for power system observability

This paper studies the optimal PMU placements based on incomplete observability of power systems, including the optimal placement methods based on unobservability depths and PMU phase installation, which are both realized by the simulated annealing algorithm. And sensitivity is taken into account during the process of seeking the optimal solutions, which can guarantee that the least number of PMUs is used in optimal placements and as more as PMUs are placed on buses with high sensitivity at the same time to collect high-accuracy network dynamic data.
