Shapely Value-based Traffic Zone Game Partition in DRG Systems

A traffic guidance-oriented traffic zone partition algorithm is presented in this paper. This algorithm provides the concept of traffic zone core that is based on the similarity theory and utilizes the Shapley value in order to divide the road network into different zones according to the similarity profit maximization principle. The paper shows how experimental results verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that the Shapley value-based traffic guidance zone game partition algorithm can split the road network into different zones effectively with flexible and simple implementation, fast convergence, and high reliability. The paper discusses how the proposed traffic guidance zone partition method can also improve the real-time performance of Dynamic Route Guidance (DRG) system at the same time.
