A DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGE DEGREE AND ITS EVOLUTION IN SFRC UNDER FATIGUE LOADS

Abstract A new definition of the damage degree of SFRC is introduced based on the investigation of damage phenomena of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) under axial compressive fatigue loads. The damage equation, which describes the damage evolution in the material, is derived based on the above definition and continuous damage mechanics. It can be found that the evolution model has a good agreement with the experimental results.
